My life consisted of exercising four to five times a day, taking various types of diet pills, exercising excessively, bingeing and purging. My obsession with wanting to be “skinny” almost took my life. It took years for me to finally say to myself that I am, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.” This obsession of being “skinny” has haunted women for years and causes us to take drastic measures to reach our goals. Over the years, I have changed my mindset from negative dieting and using unnatural habits to heal ailments, to a positive natural healing lifestyle change. My prayer is that this book will allow women, or anyone else who is struggling with a negative body image, to adapt to positive lifestyle changes, consider natural healing methods, and implement positive thinking into their lives, after all you too are, “Fearfully and Wonderfully Made.”
